Keith joined the Hope Dementia Support Group in 2025 after the death of his wife from Alzheimer’s in November of 2024. Keith and his daughter were care givers at home for his wife for several years prior to her moving into residential memory care.
Keith moved to the Vancouver area in 2002 after retiring from the Eugene, OR Police Department. Prior to retiring from the police department, Keith had a career in the Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant with 20 years of service in the intelligence area.
First-hand knowledge of caring for a family member diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease gives Keith the insight to help others whose lives are impacted by Alzheimer’s/ Dementia.
He lives in Ridgefield with his daughter and son-in-law and enjoys gardening, watching the Ridgefield Raptors and Seattle Mariners baseball, Univ of Oregon football, music, reading and the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge.
