April 25, 2026 | Royal Oaks Country Club

There are moments when community gathers not just to celebrate—but to stand together. An Evening of HOPE is one of those moments.

On April 25, we will come together in a space shaped by connections, both familiar and new, to honor the courage of care partners, the resilience of those living with dementia, and the power of connection that carries families through uncertain days. This evening is about beauty and meaning—about pausing, even briefly, to remember that no one should have to walk this journey alone.

At its heart, An Evening of HOPE is a fundraiser—but it is also a reflection of who we are as a community, a collective commitment to support, education, and hope.

Our Guest Speaker: Dr. Larry Sherman

We are honored to welcome Dr. Larry Sherman as our keynote speaker.

Dr. Sherman brings a rare and powerful perspective—one that blends neuroscience with music, science with humanity. As a neuro researcher and classically trained musician, he explores how music engages the brain, supports connection, and reaches places that words sometimes cannot. For many on the dementia journey, music becomes a bridge—to memory, emotion, and shared moments of recognition.

His presentation will invite us to see the brain not only through research and data, but through compassion and possibility. It’s a message about meeting people where they are, honoring lived experience, and nurturing moments of joy and understanding along the way.

Why This Evening Matters

Funds raised at An Evening of HOPE directly support HOPE Dementia Support programs—support groups, education, outreach, and community partnerships that ensure care partners and individuals living with dementia feel seen, supported, and connected.

But beyond fundraising, this evening is about presence. About showing up for one another. About saying, together, we are here—and we care.

We look forward to sharing this night with you—together, surrounded by community, and united by hope.
