A note from HOPE’s Executive Director
I am honored to participate in the HOPE Dementia Support Groups as the Executive Director as well as a support group facilitator. As the widow of someone with Lewy Body Dementia, I have first hand experience in the difference support groups can make in the lives of the care partners of loved ones living with dementia. Covid 19 has not stopped us from providing groups via Zoom on numerous days and times, in Portland and Vancouver! Our wonderful community partners assist us in providing monthly dementia education. It is through the generosity of our donors that we are able to continue programs to benefit those living with dementia. $25 funds an activity box, $100 buys a baby doll, a robotic pet or 2 hours of respite care. Any amount makes a difference! Please consider a tax deductible donation that will enhance the well being of our community members with memory loss and their loved ones.
