Lori came to HOPE in 2018 as a support group member while caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s disease. When her mother transitioned to memory care, she had time on her hands and decided to give back the support she received from her HOPE family.
Lori has held a variety of positions with HOPE. She started as the “bag lady” (filling bags with informational materials for new support group members). She then moved on to Secretary of the Board, and then, Support Specialist. Wanting to focus more on HOPE’s support groups, Lori is now a support group leader for HOPE groups for those living with dementia and their care partners. She also enjoys helping with HOPE’s programs and special events.
