Lynne Becker

Lynne is an artist, a writer, and a retired professional photographer from North Central Pennsylvania. She cared for her Mother with dementia for several years long distance, and in 2016 she and her husband David moved her into their home. Lynne was her primary caregiver at home until her passing in October 2019. Her mother’s younger sister also died in June that same year from Alzheimer’s. Feeling a calling to continue to learn, and to help others on this journey, she continues to stay active within dementia communities.  At the invitation of a friend from Vancouver, she came to a Hope support group led by Julie Donovan, in December 2021. In November 2024 she was honored to be asked to join Becky Martin as co-leader of an on line group.

Her goal is to help those caring for a loved one living with dementia move through the overwhelm, find balance, be open to creating special moments, and find joys in the journey for themselves and their loved one.
